Below is a summary of each of the stated Technical Management objectives. They are accompanied by a example of implementation within the educational process.
Objective 1:
"Use applied research and problem-solving skills, including presenting recommendations through comprehensive reports, communicating effectively both orally and in writing, and working effectively in leadership and support roles within a team environment."

Objective 2:
"Demonstrate supervisory and management skills needed to effectively lead and support others in technical specialty areas."
An example of such is the creation and implementation of a project resource plan. In project management, it is used to determine which aspects of a project are highest priorities, as well as determine what resources should be assigned to which part of the project. To see an example of a project resource plan I have created click here.

Objective 3:
"Apply critical thinking skills to identify and evaluate existing processes, identify needs and structure business approaches by using established methodologies and standards."

In this example, a database management problem for an existing company was analyzed to determine the customer’s current system. We then created a solution using new database technology that would allow us to solve all of their issues and increase productivity.
